1973 914/6 GT Tribute

Hello, we submitted our car for Luft 8 for the first time and seemed to be one of the last cars denied, but that's something you can check. Our car is a 1973 original Signal Orange 914 that was owned by Gary Donohoe, former Crew Chief of Dan Gurney's All American Racing Team, including during Juan Manual Fangio II's IMSA championship season. He was the one to convert this to a 914/6 GT tribute with a 2.2l engine. It went to Seattle, where Bernie Buschen of European AutoWerke installed a 2.8l engine (including a bare fiberglass engine shroud). It has turbo tie-rods and 911 brakes and original minilight wheels. The interior has a radio delete and racing bucket seats. We are located in the Oakland Hills, I have written and photographed for Petrolicious, Octane magazine, Hagerty and many national and local club magazines. I would like to submit a story of our experience if we are fortunate enough to win an entry into the display. Please let us know if we can provide more detailed photos or answer any questions.
