1960 356 Roadster

This is an original, un-restored, numbers matching, 356 Roadster that had been sitting in an old Masonic Lodge since 1998. It has a lot of neat history as shown in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLHWAsU_jKc). I acquired the car from my friend, the 2nd owner, who drove it across the country from Atlanta to Berkeley in 1964 before going off to Vietnam. The car has piles of records, including had written fuel logs for decades of every fill up, the mileage, and the cost. It also had the original map from the Atlanta to Berkeley trip, with a hand drawn route on the map and the stops each day. My story with the car: Around 23 years ago, I met a guy named Bill Ruth who managed the building I lived in during college at UC Berkeley. He was about 40 years older than me but we connected over a shared love of cars. We stayed friends after I graduated and he even came to my wedding (I met my wife during college so he knew her too.) For the past 12 years, we've attended Pebble Beach Concours / Monterey Car week together. He was the only 82 year old I knew who could walk around car shows for 4 days in a row and never get tired or bored. He'd educate me about old cars and I'd teach him about newer ones. Sadly, he passed away last year. About 8 months after his passing, his daughter (who is my age) calls me and says that he'd left a note saying to offer me his 1960 Porsche if I wanted to buy it. Obviously, I said yes and now I have this awesome 356 Roadster to spark memories of him every time I drive it. I've made a number of videos about the car for my small YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLi-Ce9OYIfuwEg1joyj2pfe80Q83x7osm
