Single family, Bay Area car from new. Originally delivered in San Jose CA to the grandfather of the current owner. The 356 was used extensively around the Bay Area through the 1970s then sparingly in the 80s and 90s. In the late 90s it was put away in the original owner's garage and not touched for ~20 years. The original owner's granddaughter and husband acquired the car in 2018 and began a mechanical refurbishment, leaving the car cosmetically as it was stored in the late 90s. My mother in law was brought home from the hospital as a newborn in this car! The car was shown at the 2019 Werks Reunion in Monterey and won 1st place in the 356 class. The car is used extensively around the Bay Area for weekend drives and events.
