Ruf did not offer a cab in 1997 so in concert with Alois Ruf this car was delivered new to Automobile Associates of Canton, CN . Ken Bronsford (ken@automobileassociates.com) was responsible for the conversion to wide body, EVO front bumper, turbo-S rear spoiler, side panels, leather covered Ruf roll bar, rear seat delete and complete respray. Upon completion of the body work the car was shipped to Gulf Performance of Pompano, FL. Vinnie Colosino (vinnie@gulfperformance.com) was responsible for installing the crate engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and exhaust , working in concert with Ruf in Germany. I purchased the car and completed the Ruf options, including wheels, hard-back seats, and leather interior. In addition, Ruf parts were added including newly available Ruf wheels, floor mats, shifter, pedal set, gauges, sills, steering wheel and mirrors. I later installed a d.morris hardtop.
