This is my dream car! I love the 356. I've dreamt of owning one since I was 14 and my dream finally came true 31 years later. I'm the third care taker of this beautiful car. The first owner took care of it for close to 30 years. The 2nd owner had it for over 20 years and I've owned it since 2017. While the car hasn't had a full restoration, it received a respray of the original color in the early 2000's and the interior reupholstered. Under my ownership I've taken an Outlaw approach updating or upgrading almost every mechanical part on the car. It's now powered by a Willhoit 2.2 Liter motor, stock transmission, updated lowered suspension with beefed up torsion and sway bars. It's rolling on custom 16"x6" polished aluminum alloy wheels that really pop with the rest of the chrome on the car. The stance, interior, & exterior colors work so well together and are absolutely beautiful. With that said, the car isn't perfect. I drive the heck out of it. It's not a trailer queen(semicolon) its a driver's car. I live in Seattle and plan to drive it down the entire West Coast (to fulfill a bucket list item) bringing it to Luft this year.
