1987 911 Carrera
Hot Rod / Heavily Modified
This Lüftgekühlt #02 started life as a 1987 Carrera Coupe. It was sent to Joey Seeley at Emotion Engineering who, in cooperation with the Lüftgekühlt team of Patrick Long, Jeff Zwart, Rod Emory and Howie Idelson, stripped the chassis and created the Lüft #02 from the ground up. Jeff Gamroth rebuilt the engine to Euro 3.2 specs with twin plug heads, Motec and custom headers and exhaust. Rod Emory created the exterior brush bars, roof/tire rack, skid plates, rock grills, tools and Lüft badging. The transmission was rebuilt with limited-slip, close range 1-4 and 5th as overdrive. Joey Seeley did the actual build/assembly featuring off-road competition long travel suspension with KW Competition 2-way dampers. ERP front control rods, Rally Spec wheels and tires, and special 15" Brembo brakes.
